VIRIA, an energy efficiency services company, will install two COMPTE.R boilers (700 and 1,200 kW) in the new biomass plant that will supply the Corbie heating district.

The new heating plant will supply most of the communal structures with heating, replacing their current heating system (oil and gas). It will be powered by wood chips (from 50 km around).

The project, partly financed by ADEME, under the Heat Fund, will save consumers and the municipality money, since wood is a cheaper energy than fossil fuels, as well as reducing CO2 emissions. 1,768 tons per year.
