Lannion-Trégor Community has chosen COMPTE.R for the supply of a 700 kW wood boiler at the end of the tender for the construction of a wood heating plant and a heat network for heat supply to buildings in Lannion – Rue Monge.

In 2009, COMPTE.R has already commissioned a biomass boiler of 2 MW, which has since heated the Lannion Hospital with energy wood from local industrial and forestry sources.

Through its Territorial Project and Climate, Air and Energy Plan, Lannion-Trégor Community has chosen to develop the wood heating of the buildings of the territory, to fulfill its greenhouse gas reduction targets. This objective involves the use of locally sourced energy wood, by valuing the bocage wood, which exists in very large quantities in the territory.
