Since December 2016, the Gennevilliers heating network has been supplied at +50% by local and renewable energy: wood.
Following the commissioning of the biomass boiler equipped with two COMPTE boilers. R of 8 MW each, each year the emission of 12,000 tons of CO2 will be avoided, the equivalent of 5,200 vehicles in circulation.

The production, processing and use of renewable energies, particularly wood, make it possible to recover and reduce storage facilities. This activity also contributes to the maintenance and development of local jobs.
Favouring the use of more than 50% renewable energy offers a cost structure disconnected from fossil fuels.
