As part of a global remodeling of the Fontbouillant district in Montlucon following the Energy Performance Contract, the district heating plant is equipped with a second biomass boiler COMPTE.R. The delivery of the 2.9 MW boiler took place at the end of March.

The new boiler will achieve a coverage rate of 58% of heating and domestic hot water needs by renewable energies and benefit from a reduced VAT rate of 5.5%. The total amount of work was € 3,358,000 for the Fontbouillant site, with no impact on the rate paid by the subscribers since they were financed by the VAT reduction.

The new biomass boiler is eligible for a funding from ADEME.
