Founded in 1895, the Lamarque Sogy Bois sawmill is a reference in the transformation of maritime pine into panelling, parquet and mouldings.

The company has signed up for the New Aquitaine Region’s “Factory of the Future” programme, which aims to improve the factory’s performance and implement a new production model.

In autumn 2021, COMPTE.R will install a 3.5 MW biomass boiler and electrostatic precipitator on the Lamarque Sogy Bois site. To feed the boiler, the sawmill will use its own fuel: forestry wood chips.
