Global Berry in Somerset, a producer of strawberries for supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Morrisons and M&S, has invested in a biomass boiler to heat its greenhouses.

In December 2021 COMPTE.R will deliver and install the 4.5 MW wood chips boiler.

The high performance boiler will guarantee NOx emissions below 300 mg/Nm3 at 6% O2 and dust emissions ≤ 30 mg/Nm3 at 6% O2 thanks to the electrofilter.
