Limagrain Europe specialises in the research, production and marketing of field seeds and has numerous seed production and processing plants in France and abroad.

Limagrain has placed its trust in Engie and COMPTE.R for its project to set up a new boiler room using maize cobs for its Loire-Authion plant.

ENGIE Solutions, which specialises in energy-related services, and COMPTE.R, which specialises in biomass boiler room solutions, jointly presented an offer for the design, construction and maintenance of the 8 MW boiler room as well as a heat network internal to the Limagrain factory site supplying the dryers.

In 2013 COMPTE.R commissioned a 2.4 MW steam boiler on the Limagrain site in Saint Ignat.
