The official opening of the new Appalaches Nature plant took place on June 20th.

This processing plant will have a bottling capacity of 200,000 bottles of maple syrup per day, in addition to manufacturing various maple products.

The choice to implement a biomass boiler by our client reflects its environmental and sustainable development vision. This plant will be LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) while providing significant energy savings compared to fossil fuels.

The COMPTE Fournier superheated water boiler , model Granul’Éco with a power of 1 MW, will meet the heating needs and for the process of transformation of the plant, and this, for several years to come.

Congratulations and thank you all for the commitment and collaboration, which contributed to the success of this local project all along the line!
