The Laresche sawmill, which has been based in Sainte-Colombe in the Jura mountains since 1990, has acquired a hot water boiler fuelled by wood chips produced by the sawmill.

For this investment, company director Jean-Louis Laresche opted for French brand COMPTE.R equipment, which was installed last December, enabling the Jura sawmill to produce energy using natural, ecological and economical fuel.

The 760 kW boiler is equipped with a rotary fuel extractor and a bag filter, also designed and manufactured by COMPTE.R, which captures the finest dust and guarantees a level of emissions that is both stable and below current regulations.
