The Quebec company Biodelices, recently associated with a French company Michaud, has initiated a project for a new plant in Thetford Mines to process maple and honey products.

The process requires superheated water at about 150 ° C, which will be produced by a 1 MW pellet boiler manufactured and installed by COMPTE Fournier.

Commissioning is scheduled for January 2019.
