In December 2021, work began on a new aquatic centre in Valognes. The Communauté d’agglomération du Cotentin, with the support of the Region, the Department and the State, is the contracting authority for a project that meets the high expectations of residents, tourists and businesses.

The aquatic centre will be heated by a 400 kW COMPTE.R wood boiler.
