In January 2022, work began on the construction of a central boiler plant using wood chips in order to pool the heating production of the area served by the Grands Prés heating network in Vendôme.

COMPTE.R, which won the “wood boiler room” lot in the call for tenders, will supply two 450 kW boilers that will feed the heating network. The fuel will be extracted and transferred using a hopper with two vertical unloading screws, a system used for filling silos at ground level.
