The biomass and gas central heating plant of the Corbie heating network, which began construction last March, has received its two wood boilers COMPTE.R.

This boiler plant will be operational during the first quarter of 2020 and will allow the city’s facilities and buildings to reduce their heating bills by 5 to 10%.

With 3,320 tonnes of wood consumed per year (forestry remnants and hedgerows, wood industry waste, supply radius – 50 km to 86%), the Corbie wood heat network will prevent the rejection of 1,800 t of CO2 per year (or 770 t of oil equivalent).
