Delcom40, a company of the Polish COM40 group, a manufacturer of furniture and other products for IKEA, is carrying out an investment project concerning the energy independence of its own production facilities. IKEA requires all its suppliers to use by 2030 only the energy they produce themselves from renewable sources.

As part of this project, Komkont supplied a 4 MW biomass boiler at the Delcom40 site, fuelled with production waste from the factory and sawmill it owns.
