The Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region is maintaining its policy of financially supporting the deployment of wood-fired heating systems in order to increase the share of renewable energy in regional energy production.

Following a call for tenders for the construction of biomass boilers in several high schools in Burgundy, the installer L.E. Energie, which specialises in biomass energy and heat networks, was chosen by the region to install biomass boilers at the High school of Fontaines and the High school for horticulture and landscape de Tournus.
