The 4.5 MW COMPTE.R boiler for the straw district heating system in Poitiers was delivered to the Dolmen site.

The new boiler is designed to receive 6,000 tonnes of cereal straw that cannot be consumed by animals, which is expected to come from 70 km around Poitiers.

Thanks to the use of biomass 23,000 tonnes of CO2 will be avoided each year, the equivalent of 11,000 cars taken off the road.
