In October 2022, the biomass boiler at BEL’s Evron plant was handed over.

Supplied and commissioned by COMPTE.R, the 6.6 MW boiler, which produces 10 t/h of steam, will enable the cheese manufacturer to reduce its CO2 emissions by almost 85%.

This project is one of the winners of France Relance 2021, and is supported by the company Idex. It is part of the dairy group’s decarbonisation programme, which aims to achieve carbon neutrality in its factories by 2025 through the use of renewable energy.
