Since its construction in 2009, the Nègrepelisse wood heating network has been an environmental asset, a lever for local economic development and an advantage for regional planning.

A central boiler room comprising a 1200 kW COMPTE.R wood boiler covers nearly 80% of the heating and hot water production needs of the buildings served by the heating network.

This choice of renewable energy allows CO2 emissions to be divided by 5.

As part of the upgrading to standards, COMPTE.R will equip the existing biomass boiler room with an electrofilter guaranteeing fine particle emissions below 30 mg/Nm3.
