The assembly of the biomass boiler COMPTE.R of the St-Yrieix heating district is in progress.

The boiler, with a power of 2,500 kW, will consume 3900 t of wood per year.

The production of heat from wood combustion will be at least 85%, with 2300 t of CO2 avoided per year.

The heat network is designed to cover a length of 4.3 km and total thermal requirements estimated at 10,000 MWh / year with commissioning expected by the end of 2018.
