The 9.4 MW COMPTE.R biomass boilers from the Aurillac wood-fired heating network were delivered to the Yser power station site.

The 15-kilometre-long network will supply nearly 4,200 housing equivalents from the end of 2020.

The boilers will be fuelled with wood from Cantalien forests, using local sources.

The elected representatives welcomed this new stage as “a step towards ecological transition”, given the reduction in emissions (5,000 vehicles in circulation in the city of Aurillac over one year) and the energy that will guarantee subscribers heat at a very competitive price.
