ENGIE Servicios Energéticos S.A. has awarded COMPTE.R the supply and commissioning of a 4.5 MW biomass boiler that will equip the biomass thermal power plant of the heating network that will serve the district of Txantrea from the end of 2020.

The Txantrea thermal power plant will have the capacity to supply heating and hot water to more than 2,000 homes, as well as eight public buildings in this district of Pamplona, with the possibility of extending the service to neighbouring municipalities.

The use of forest biomass of local origin for the production of heat will represent an 80% reduction in GHG emissions.
