In November 2020, as part of the implementation of the State programme “Energy saving” for 2016-2020, in a boiler room in the village of Rechitsa in the district of Stolin our subsidiary KOMKONT supplied and commissioned 2 biomass boilers with a total capacity of 6.5 MW.

The project was financed by a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

This achievement has enabled the Stolin district to reach almost 40% of the use of local fuel and energy resources in 2021, replacing imported fuel – natural gas, whose consumption in 2021 will be reduced by 14.7%.
